Speakers:

Shelley Fletcher, MSA,CPC is an experienced health administrator with superb business acumen. She has over 15 years of revenue cycle management, specializing in process improvements, and increased revenue generation.

As a Provider Educator, her goals include keeping providers updated with coding guidelines, identifying areas of revenue opportunity within assigned departments, decreasing denials, and collaborating with other departments on documentation and coding education opportunities.

In addition to her primary job functions, Shelley was recognized by a major health system with the Shadow of Influence Award.

R. Temple Dunlop, CPC is an experienced medical coder, biller, auditor, and educator.  Driven by a desire to learn, and a passion to share her expertise, she takes pride in delivering presentations, to individuals or large groups, in her own unique style.

As a Provider Educator with a local health system, her goals include keeping providers up-to-date with documentation guidelines, increasing the accuracy of their coding, and collaborating with various departments and peers on new projects.

In addition to her primary job functions, Temple has been recognized by the Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for her commitment as a dedicated academician to the PA Clinical Rotations Course.

We plan to answer every burning question there is about HCCs and SDoHs.

  • What are HCCs and SDoHs, ingredients for alphabet soup?
  • Why are they important, or are they?
  • Do they impact reimbursement?  Because if I am working based on a quota then I only add the important codes to maintain my production expectations.
  • Lastly, everyone's favorite, do they have anything to do with patient care?
